<p>The weather has been the same the last few weeks. The low has been in the mid 40's for about two weeks. But for some reason I have been cold for the last 24 hours and can't get warm! I even resorted to turning on the heater at home last night. But it is a beautiful morning. From Stone Cliff this morning, I can see all the way to Zion and all across St. George. I can feel winter coming.

It is Supposed to be Fall...
It is supposed to be Fall now, but Mother Nature doesn't know. Today's high is supposed to be 81 and the low is 43. It is Halloween but we are having mid-September weather. The sun is shining and radiating its warmth down on us. If you are standing in the sun today it will feel like it is in the 90's. The air is crisp and cool. If you're in the shade it will feel cooler than 81.
The weather has been good for my Utility bill. St. George has saved me a lot of money this month because the weather has been cool enough I haven't had to run my air conditioner or my heater. Two nights we made a fire in the fireplace because it was a little cool, but other than that we haven't had to change the temperature at all.

Introduction
This blog is intended to describe in detail what the weather in St. George, Utah is like. I will make posts nearly every day. I will write about the weather as I see and feel it from the top of St. George at Stone Cliff (http://www.stonecliff.com). From Stone Cliff I can see Pine Mountain, I can see the Arizona Strip, Zion National Park, parts of Kolob, St. George, and Utah Hill.
You may say, "I can just look up the weather online, why would I check your blog?" I am not simply giving stats and numbers as the weatherman does. I am talking about what it's actually like to live in the weather of Southern Utah. I will talk about how the weather affects the way I feel and function almost every day. This information is important for people planning to vacation in Utah's Dixie and for those planning to relocate here.
